EB-5 Investor-Based Immigration

In 1990, under the Immigration Act, Congress decided to establish a program which would encourage immigrant investors to make investment in the economy of US. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services sets visas for up to 10,000 foreign nationals every year. This visa has certain requirements which are supposed to be fulfilled by a candidate in order to be eligible for EB5.

What is EB-5 Visa?

The EB5 Visa is termed as the category of US Golden Visa. The EB-5 visa allows the person living in US to work freely, live, and pursue their career. It also enables retire in the US to have the minimum standard of living without having a need to find an employer.

  • Evidence that your investment has enabled jobs in both dimensions – direct or indirect.
  • Evidence that the new employees will be working with you for at least two years.
  • Foreign business registration records
  • Proof of any pending civil or criminal actions against you from a court in or outside the USA from the previous 15 years (if applicable).
  • Your passport.
  • Passport-size pictures.
  • Civil documents, such as birth and marriage certificates.
  • Completed Medical Examination Forms.

Family Members of EB-5 Visa Holders

If the candidate qualifies for EB5 Visa, family members fulfilling the following requirements are also eligible to enter the US.

  • Your spouse. The spouse is eligible for both cases (conditional and permanent) residency.
  • Your children. Children under the age of 21.
